1. Some fire departments prefer gifts unwrapped and cash donations to purchase specific toys for children.
2. They appreciate it if you place the age of the child on the gift - if not marked by the manufacturer.
3. They often have covered barrels outside of their stations between Thanksgiving to Christmas - drop the gifts into the barrels.
